Lachlan Way Motel

This Motel was the perfect place for those who wish to explore around Lake Cargellico as it is within 200 metres from the lake. Staff here were very helpful, directing us to the best place for dinner and scrounging us up a DVD player. The room was spacious and clean. The beds were comfy and the bathroom was large and functional.

Was overnight on business and was booked into the what I thought would be ordinary......... well I was wrong the room was spotless as was the bathrooms even though dated. The air con worked a treat and the bed was comfortable. It was a comfortable stay. Being across from the lake I was able to take a walk and really enjoyed the night - THANKS

Decided last minute to stay in Lake Cargelligo. Did a room inspection of this motel as the outside view didn't grab us. The rooms across the front have the most wonderful view of the lake and are well equipped and quite large. Joan and Ian Kemp, the owners were wonderful hosts. The room rate was very good also. Definitely would stay there again.

Drove from Sydney to Lake Cargelligo and we were happy for a clean room and a nice welcome. The owners were away but the manager was really friendly. The rooms are very basic. No money has been spent on this place since it was built which looks like late 70s. The room was clean - though you could tell people had smoked in it for years before it was made no smoking. The beds were just ok. Sheets were clean - not sure about the blankets. The motel is located directly across from the lake and the view is fantastic. All accommodation at Lake Cargelligo is basic and old, this motel was fine. It was a bit overpriced for the standard, but $119 for a good night’s rest in a beautiful location was fine.

very clean room. Excellent service and advice from the owners. If you have a Lakeview room the sunrise and sunsets are great. The 2 local pubs offer good meals and surprisingly cheap beer. The Chinese meal at the bowling club is also a great surprise. Really good and heaps of it.
